A Bit About Me

Teaching has always been one of my passions and an important part of my life. My teachers inspired me to share the joy of music with others.

I teach a variety of instruments such as basic piano, basic guitar, and ukulele. In every lesson, I also focus on concepts such as sight-reading and theory. I believe every musician should continue to work on these musicianship skills no matter what instrument they play.

My mission is to help my students develop a healthy singing technique that will work for any genre. I tailor my teaching style to the learning method and goals of each student and encourage a love of singing. I strive to make the lessons fun and informative for any age or ability. I have had experience preparing students for NYSSMA and FSMTA adjudication festivals, recitals, auditions, and other performances.

I started my small voice studio in 2017 teaching adult beginners in my undergraduate degree. In 2020 I branched out working in various private music schools. In my graduate degree from 2021-2023 I taught voice for non-majors at New England Conservatory. I now work with many voice and piano students of all ages and levels. I have taught students from ages 3 to adult both in-person and virtually. From my music education experience, I am certified to teach all areas of music to students from grades pre-K-12.

I received my master's degree in vocal performance at New England Conservatory and my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in vocal performance and music education certification at Carnegie Mellon University. I am currently accepting in person students in the Martin County/ Palm Beach, FL area. I can accept students anywhere via Zoom, Skype, or FaceTime.

Received my FL teaching certification in K-12 music.

Opened my voice studio online and in person in Florida!

Taught non voice major undergraduate and graduate students voice at New England Conservatory.

Left the local music school in NY to go to Boston, MA for graduate school at New England Conservatory. Received my PA teaching certification in PreK-12 Music.

Received my NY teaching certification in K- 12 music.

Graduated with my masters in music (vocal performance) from New England Conservatory.

Completed my Music Education Semester for my PA Teaching Certification. (In the middle of a global pandemic.)

Graduated from Carnegie Mellon with my BFA in Vocal performance and Music Education.

Taught at a local music school in Long Island, NY giving private in person and virtual voice and piano lessons to students of all ages.

Started my private voice studio while I was studying vocal performance at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh, PA.
